Nico makes ads. Ads that people want to watch again and again. And again. Ads with perfectly observed comedy. Ads with lasting emotional impact. Ads that lifted an entire country off their feet during the Olympics. Nico is a director whose work is both anchored in the advertising culture here and loved internationally. Over his career he’s directed everything from Bye Bye spots to hit TV series (C.A., 3Xrien) to feature films (Trip à Trois, Aurélie Laflamme - les pieds sur terre). His work has won Cannes Lions, Marketing Awards, Clio Awards, and IDEA + CREA. For Nico, telling a complete story in just a few seconds is a sacred art that he approaches with the same passion and irreverence as his very first day on sets between Montreal, Toronto and Paris.
