Raph is the exception to the rule. Every rule. He’s impossible to define but we’ll do our best. Raph nourishes each idea like it’s a personal dream. He approaches his work with the same obsessive focus whether he’s tracking bears in the northern wilderness or inventing a new camera rig on set downtown. His camera shines a light on the full spectrum of human complexity, exposing all of the fragility and beauty and some of the dumbass comedy of our lives. Raph is a director, a DOP, a photographer and a rig master. He’s been recognized by the Clios, PDN, Communication Arts, American Photography, CREA and IDEA. And he will happily discuss contemporary dance, boxing, food porn and snowmobiles. Probably in the same sentence.
